Most pets are given a sedative shortly after they arrive. This helps to reduce any pain and anxiety they may be experiencing. Many times, we will place an IV catheter so that we have a secure and painless access for the euthanasia solution. The euthanasia solution itself is a general anesthetic, causing rapid and peaceful sleep. The high dose of anesthetic then causes the heart to stop.

We offer pet cremation which can be either communal cremation or private cremation. If you elect private cremation, your pet's ashes will be returned to you in a beautiful hand carved box from our professional pet crematory. We also can provide you with a list of pet memorial companies that provide special urns and burial products.
